Our Managing Trustees Lions Basantraj Mehta and Lion Rajnikant Shah are pillars of strength, support and inspiration. Lion Basantraj Mehta, the FIRST CHAIRMAN of Lions Hospital, who has always focused on what he wants rather than what he does not want, a great technocrat, is a true inspiration for generations to come, predominantly an enormous donor himself while getting major donors viz, Mr Rajesh Jhunjhunwala and Mrs. K.K Agarwal. Lion Rajinikant Shah, a Chartered Accountant by profession, comes across as a strong support system by taking initiative and responsibility in his relevant field by leading the entire Finance and Audit with compliances taken care of at all levels.
Positions to the Board of Trustees are filled by fair and regular elections every three years as per the norms regulated by the Charity Commission with we being a Charitable Hospital. The positions each Board Member holds is justified by the time they block for priorities in their calendar to focus on deep work for the growth and good will of the Hospital. Our success is purely due to cognitive effort of each and every one because of the mental action or process of acquiring knowledge and understanding through thought, experience, and the senses for making a meaningful growth in the field of medical service to the most cost effective rates to the large section of the society.

This has enabled the Hospital to function on auto mode and we as management have intrinsically created this phenomenon by our regular intervention and guidance.
Lions Hospital, now a premier 50 Bed Multi-specialty Hospital functions for the benefit of the masses. Being centrally located, it is easily accessible by public transport. The Hospital provides comprehensive medical care with its multi-pronged approach ranging from Out-patient Services, In-patient Services, Maternity and Gynecology services, NICU and Pediatric services, Surgical Care of all kinds e.g. Knee Replacement, Laparoscopic Surgeries, Dental Care, Physiotherapy, Sonography, Radiology, Dialysis, Cardiology, Ophthalmology including Cataract and Retina surgeries, Pathology, Pharmacy and Optical Shop. Also state of art Intensive Care Unit (I.C.U.) offer our services at heavily subsidized charges as prevalent in our other medical services. Lions Hospital, being a reputed trust venture, runs on charitable rates which are 40% cheaper than the other hospitals. Our Dialysis Centre is a full fledged dedicated unit running on 3 shifts with 13 State-of-the-art Dialysis Machines. Our Cardiology Department is equipped with the finest Tread Mill Test (TMT) Machine to determine cardiac stress tests. Our Ophthalmology Department, is the first and oldest department, to have started with the Sight First Lions International Mission and caters to patients from far and wide for ophthal care and cataract surgeries at rock bottom rates. Just as it is rightly said that until you spread your wings, you will have no idea how far you can fly, as we expand our departments and services we understand the impact of the expansion that can play in the success of our Lions Hospital.
The pandemic eradication year has been the year of global solidarity with the only agenda to end the Covid-19 Pandemic to launch the vaccination drive. With world leaders and our nation standing united in this cause to make vaccines available to all, we at Lions Hospital are one of the government approved authorized Covid-19 vaccination centers and have procured our Covishield doses of vaccines directly from the Serum Institute of India. Going by our mission to be cheaper than prevailing market rates, we subsided the vaccine rates to lesser than government stipulated sale prices.

We truly work towards achieving the best results to adhere to safety norms and have worked hard over the several years in maintain and sustaining the risk assessment steps and fulfilling the standard safety norms to achieve renewal of NABH accreditation every two years. We at Lions Hospital have this ingrained habit to respect each other irrespective of our designations and this practice has transformed into our culture. The collective responsibility in maintaining and growing with perseverance is seen in every department right from security, housekeeping, maintenance, admin, accounts, clinical and the management.
