Cashew Nut Shell Liquid (CNSL)

Vili Organics’ Cashew Nut Shell Liquid (CNSL) is a natural, renewable, and high-performance industrial raw material extracted from the shells of Anacardium occidentale (cashew nuts). It is a phenolic lipid compound comprising primarily anacardic acid, cardanol, and cardol, offering exceptional chemical reactivity and versatility. CNSL serves as a sustainable substitute for petroleum-based phenols in coatings, resins, adhesives, and friction materials.

Cardanol
(Distilled CNSL)

Vili Organics’ Cardanol is a high-purity phenolic lipid derived from distilled Cashew Nut Shell Liquid (CNSL) obtained from Anacardium occidentale. Cardanol is an excellent bio-based phenolic compound, valued for its reactive phenolic group and long aliphatic side chain, which together provide exceptional flexibility, hydrophobicity, thermal stability, and chemical resistance.
It is widely used in epoxy curing agents, phenolic resins, adhesives, surface coatings, and friction materials, serving as a sustainable alternative to petrochemical phenols.
